"I love to design and particularly enjoy painting florals in a Zhostovo 'like' fashion, but without a doubt, my greatest joy and I believe my worth, comes from teaching. I am a 'skills' teacher. The subject can change but my teaching remains focused on technique. I have analyzed brush strokes from the loading of the brush....to the movement of the hands/shoulders...to the angle of the chisel...and so on, and love to show students how beautiful, rhythmic strokes can be accomplished...and how combined they can lead to masterful creations."

Her studio shop has recently been re-opened for classes offering instruction not only in the Zhostovo and strokework style but also other styles including seascape and landscape canvases. Projects vary and if you have something special you would like to paint with Heather’s help do not hesitate to contact her.

There is reasonably priced accommodation and meals available in Zurich and area, and Heather would love to have you come to paint with her in her studio.
